Known as 'Batucada do Leste' ('Drummers of the East'), the East Bay Community Samba School is an exciting and talented community based samba group in the East Bay. Our School is comprised of men and women and children of all ages, backgrounds and skill levels. We are proud of our growing dance contingent featuring Passaro de Fogo a group of students from our partner, Emeryville Secondary School. Like the Firebird, we're reaching for the stars!
